OUR CURRICULUM

planning your podcast

CHAPTER 5:

Before you begin recording sound, you must plan out your episode. What story are you going to tell? Who will you feature? How long will your episode be? All of these are very important questions that you must have answered before you record your episode.

To make the best out of this chapter, we recommend reading it through from start to finish before moving on to Chapter 6 where we talk about producing a podcast. As we mentioned previously, it’s best to have your first episode to serve as a trailer that describes your podcast. This first episode is commonly and ironically named “Episode 0.”
